Something Rotten! is a hilarious, Tony-nominated Broadway musical that mashes up 16th-century Renaissance England with 21st-century theatrical flair. Set in the 1590s, it follows struggling playwright brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom who desperately attempt to outshine the egocentric rockstar “Bard” himself, William Shakespeare, by inventing the world’s first musical.
